- Leave your bandage on as directed—usually 12 to 24 hours.
- Remove the bandage with clean hands under warm water.
- Wash gently with fragrance-free soap.
- Pat dry with a clean paper towel — don’t rub.
- Let the tattoo air dry as directed—usually for 1 to 2 hours.
- Wash the tattoo again and pat with a clean paper towel.
- Apply the new bandage, avoiding any air bubbles.
After Another 3 to 5 Days
- Remove the second bandage with clean hands.
- Wash gently with fragrance-free soap and warm water.
- Pat dry with a clean paper towel — don’t rub.
- Apply a thin layer of ointment—no petroleum-based products.
- Reapply the thin layer of ointment as needed.
The Next 8 to 10 Days: The Healing Phase
- Expect light scabbing, flaking, and itching — this is normal.
- Continue washing gently once or twice daily.
- Switch to a fragrance-free lotion to keep skin hydrated.
- Do not scratch, pick, or peel the tattoo.
What to Avoid (First 2–4 Weeks)
- No swimming, soaking, or hot tubs.
- No direct sun exposure — cover or use SPF 30+ once healed.
- No tight clothing over the tattoo.
- No gym equipment contact or excessive sweating on the area.
Long-Term Care
- Keep your tattoo vibrant with regular moisturizing.
- Use sunscreen to prevent fading.
